Step One
How About a Phone Call?
We will work with your schedule to set a phone call meeting time. Tell us about your home and your ideas to renovate. The first phone call generally takes 15-30 minutes, and can help answer questions for both of us. If your project fits into the types of work we bring on, we will let you know and we can both decide if were going to work well together.
Step Two
Consultation
Depending on the scope of work, we may request to meet with you at our office location, or we may feel it important for a visit to your home to ‘check things out’.
Step Three
Conceptual Design
As your Design-Build firm, this is the first level of commitment to working together. Based on agreed upon project budget, we will create conceptual design of your project and prepare a line-itemed budget for the scope of work. For some, this is one the most fun parts of the process - we will brainstorm together and bring our depth of experience to the table to help you
Step Four
Design Development
Here we refine the ideas discussed and associated budgets from the concept phase into actual buildable plans and budgets. It is during this phase that you literally see the project built on the computer before we start on-site construction. In some cases, we may cut out an access area in the wall to see what behind to prevent complications further down the road - but don’t worry, we’ll fix it :-) We also work with you to choose materials during this phase. Saw a tile online but don’t know what it is? No problem, we work with a number of great suppliers and can order in full-size samples to make absolutely sure you love it before signing off on the approval form.
Construction
We are craftsmen who take pride in our work. That applies to the entire construction process, not just the fit and finish of the details . From our weekly project meetings, and detailed communication to listening to your idea that for the build that woke you up in the middle of the night, we are here to serve you!
After completing hundreds of projects over the years, we know that remodeling is no small task and can be stressful on your family, and we are here to support your through the process, even during the not-so-fun times.
